Figgy’s Fizz is now on the wine list at The Red Lion, Hernhill.
This one feels like a real milestone for us. Until now you could only find Figgy’s Fizz on the shelves of Kent shops. Now, for the first time, you can sit down in a pub and ask for it.
Our first pub
When Simon at The Red Lion tried Figgy’s Fizz, he called it “a very good easy drinking sparkling wine, well worth the price tag”. We’ll happily take that, and we can’t think of a nicer place for our first vintage to make its pub debut.
A pub on the green
The Red Lion is a 14th century hall house in the little hamlet of Hernhill, just a few miles from Faversham. Inside there are exposed beams, flagstone floors, a crown post ceiling and a log fire for the colder months, with a beer garden for when the sun comes out. Figgy’s Fizz is grown just down the road, so it hasn’t had far to travel to get onto the list.
Thank you to Simon and the team for giving us our first place on a wine list. If you pop in and order a bottle, take a photo and tag us. We’d love to see it.
